Howard, but I also became interested in Howard huimself when they showed some of his published poems.
I was truly impressed by them and it made me sadder to think this creative, imaginative, and brilliant young man should cut his own life so short.
I especially feel for his poor father who lost both his wife and son under such tragic circumstances. In a way, he was the true victim of his son't suicide as he was left with nothing, but the memory of a wife and only child he was helpless to save.

A trip I would love to make. It's his poetry that has captivated me and today I have just taken possession of my first book of his, the first of many I hope.

Your remark about him nursing his mother has always made me wonder. I have three children in their late 20's and it often crosses my mind how they would be in such a situation... I'm sure not as loving or devoted, except maybe for one, the one who has bipolar, whose thoughtfulness for everyone seems greater than the other two.

One of my blogs has nothing original of mine... just pictures of D'Onofrio with captions that I hope fit the character. There seem to be more of Robert E Howard than anyone else.

I appreciate that Robert E Howard already had quite a following, but I would be interested to know how many fold this increased in the wake of TWWW.
